THE SPORTS SHOW with Jamo and Guests
Saturday 8am – 11am
Hosted by Keith Jamieson who has been a presenter at BBB FM since day one as part of the inaugural presenters course in 1996. Previously on radio in Alice Springs from early 80's mainly on sports based shows on several stations including commercial, community, ABC and indigenous. Lengthy experience in live broadcast of football and several other events. Played and involved in the administration of many sports including football, hockey, soccer, cricket, volleyball, basketball etc.
In winter, the show runs from 8am - 11am with segments on football from four associations - Barossa Light & Gawler, Adelaide Plains, North Eastern and Hills with regular panellists plus special guests and interviews. Netball, Hockey and Rugby Union are also covered. The highlight of the summer edition is the Bowls Show which runs from 9-10 with special guest Geoff 'Guru' Langley. Scores from other sports are other sports are also considered and each Saturday a featured artist holds sway over the music. A new innovation coming up is a series of 'Icon Interviews' after the Bowls Show.
Music played when time permits covers the whole gamut from nostalgic rock, blues, country and rock. |
