1837 Barossa is an iconic Australian wine producer that commemorates the date on which Colonel William Light, founder of Adelaide and first Surveyor-General of South Australia named the Barossa in December 1837.

We produce extraordinary wines of distinction. As such all our wines wear a cordon sash. Red wines hail exclusively from the estate near Lyndoch, while whites are sourced from Eden Valley growers.

The spectacular estate in the Southern Barossa town of Lyndoch has breath taking views over a landscape of rolling hills blanketed in rows of vines, punctuated with modern art sculptures
