About the Presenters
EV
EV, otherwise known as Ekkia is a local Barossan who’s been volunteering at BBBfm since late 2016. She joined the station looking to help out behind the scenes, but fell in love with presenting early on. She has been presenting “Mix it Up with EV” ever since.
Staged Radio
‘Staged Radio’ is a program dedicated to the timeless art of Radio Plays – where storytelling meets sound in the most captivating way. On the 3rd Sunday of each month from 12-3pm we’ll bring you locally recorded and produced radio plays by BBBfm volunteers
Olivia & Steve
Olivia has a passion for audio and came to BBB to do a couple of weeks work experience to help in her studies. Two years later, she is still here and heavily involved in tech production.
Steven has had a life long interest in sound recording and a love of electronic instruments. He started with BBB in 2021 to coordinate the stations outside broadcasts and soon moved into the production area. He vowed never to go on air, but discovered how addictive it is.
About these programs
Mix it Up with EV (on the first Sunday of every month) is a program all about the music! With a focus on local artists, the newest singles, old favourites, and all around good vibes. As the title suggests, every show is a mix of music from a wide range of genres, from indie to modern rock, pop to alternative, and a bit of electronic, folk and much more in-between.

On the 2nd Sunday of each month be entertained by our automated Music Mix system. Listen in and be delighted and surprised by the variety of tunes from the BBBfm music library.
On the 3rd Sunday of each month we bring you ‘Staged Radio”. Each month we’ll be broadcasting a Radio Play voiced, recorded and produced by BBBfm volunteers. On the 4th Sunday of each month we bring you ‘Sound Minds’ hosted by Olivia & Steve. We’ve let our Production Team out so they can share eclectic music selections and discuss their experiences in the world of audio.
