David Butcher

David Butcher is no stranger to radio. In his early 20s, he wrote dramas and programs for ABC Radio, and in a long corporate life has represented companies and issues on radio and television. Most recently he spent seven years with 3mFM/South Coast FM in Gippsland, Victoria presenting breakfast and morning ‘magazine’ programs. As a recent undocumented immigrant to South Australia, he is continuing his association with community radio through BBB-FM which he sees as the life-blood of local communities. He loves people and all types of music – and Big Breakfasts; in fact, there is very little he doesn’t like … other than broccoli.

From time to time, he will be joined in the studio with his wife Helen.
