Peter Young
Peter is an avid life time music lover & live concert goer. His passion for music developed from a young age in the late 60’s from listening to the radio & then of course watching Count Down. Studied Commercial Music at TAFE part time for three years when he was 35. . He has gone from Race Horse Jockey to Disc Jockey – THE ROCK JOCK –
About this program
Two songs. One artist. Back-to-back. That’s the formula behind Two Up Tuesday, where Peter digs deeper than the hits to uncover great album tracks and hidden gems. Each week will feature different music genres, including international Rock and Pop, Heavy and Glam Metal, Christian Pop, Rock and Metal and Awesome Aussies, all spanning the 70s, 80s and right through to today.
Peter will also shine a spotlight on an up-and-coming local artist or band, featuring their music and a short bio. So tune in and discover the songs beyond the singles!
